INTERNATIONAL SALES MISSIONS
Tourism organizations and businesses can participate in sales missions for a fee, plus travel expenses, unless otherwise indicated.
Winnipeg Sales Mission: Winnipeg, Manitoba
May, 2010
Each May Explore Minnesota Tourism leads a group of 10-15 industry co-sponsors on a sales mission to the Winnipeg area. The trip generally involves:
- Dinner and appreciation event for Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) agents
- Breakfast reception held jointly for tour operators and media
- Additional sales call activity
- Occasional media exposure opportunity.
To benefit from the full scope of the mission, plan on devoting at least three days to the trip. If you choose to drive, allow for additional time on the road. Cost of participation and co-sponsorship of the events is typically no more than $350. Airfare varies broadly, but we are often able to secure rooms for less than $150/night, plus meals and other travel expenses. Contact Chris Van Meter for more information:
