Get a Little Help From Your Friends!

Workshops are designed for staff and volunteers from community arts organizations, art studios/galleries, history museums, heritage festivals, lodging businesses, visitors bureaus, chambers of commerce and other tourism marketing organizations. Included on the agenda are educational sessions on Web Marketing, Advertising and Creating Experiences to draw in new customers. Network with other organizations to develop new promotional efforts around cultural heritage tourism.

Participants have rated prior workshops very highly and are making new connections with organizations to develop future promotions. One of the participants at the Thief River Falls workshop had this comment:

“I encourage everyone who is looking for opportunities to increase visitors to their destination to attend the Cultural Heritage workshops currently being sponsored by Explore Minnesota Tourism. As a hotelier and active Chamber of Commerce board member my experience at the Thief River Falls meeting was extremely helpful. The speakers and sponsors provided valuable information and the networking opportunities tremendous.”
