Golf Promotions Electronic Newsletter

Explore Minnesota Tourism’s bi-weekly golf promotions newsletter helps you pass on information about the promotions at golf courses in your area. Our bi-weekly newsletter consists of promotions, events, deals, leagues to join — any information about fun, new things going on at Minnesota golf courses.

To be a part of this newsletter, send your information to  golf@emt.travel. You may forward us any materials you have already created about your promotions, or simply sign us up for your press releases/newsletters, or compose something new. We will compile select information from your submissions every two weeks during the Minnesota golf season, and send to consumers who sign up to receive this information from us.

We will take information received the Wednesday before publication date for each issue. We will continue this year’s publications through the 2009 golf season (basically until you all tell us all the golf courses in Minnesota are closed for the season).

Explore Minnesota Fishing Report

Explore Minnesota Tourism’s fishing report is compiled from reports submitted by chambers of commerce, CVBs, resort associations and other community organizations.

Reports must not be longer than 150 words. Please format your report in the following way:

1) Name of city/area and lakes covered
2) Current fishing activity on Minnesota waters, i.e., species of fish being caught on specific bodies of water, types of bait used, recommended fishing techniques/methods, and time of day
3) Other regulatory items of importance
4) Name of person & organization reporting, phone, and Web address (if applicable)

**Information regarding natural occurrences such as lake-turnover, or events such as upcoming fishing tournaments, will also be considered.

Please restrict your reports to the above criteria, and send your information within the body of an email by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday of each week to fishing@emt.travel. All reports must be accurate and up-to-date. Any consumer complaints regarding the accuracy of the reports will be referred to the appropriate source.

EMT will make every effort to assure that the fishing report is equitably representative of the state. We reserve the right to both limit and solicit reports from organizations to fulfill this goal, and best meet the needs of the consumer. At times, it may be necessary to either partially edit or remove a report entirely if space and/or time demand.

For more information or to be a part of this report, contact Christine Lawton at christine.lawton@state.mn.us
